Be Who You Are

Being who you are is your unique super power to give to the world as your act of selfless love to others. You must stand firmly in your truth and those who do not resonate with your truth are not your people and they will drift toward what feels good to them. Do not be dismayed by their non-resonance as you are constantly planting seeds of your truth that take time, experience, and willingness to understand, germinate and grow. Follow what makes you feel good, turn off your head and move into your heart where you may love everyone you encounter as an extension of yourself. 

Know that what you can create is unlimited and when you are actively creating, what you attract and what you receive is not taking away from anyone else as you live in an abundant and limitless universe where everyone can have everything they desire and need: our lack comes from our personal belief systems which creates experiences of hardships and you may change your experience by changing your thoughts when you desire to experience another reality: it is up to you. 


Dare to dream big, far bigger than your current means, far bigger than your belief systems rooted in lack and behold the truth: that you are God, you are a creator and you are worthy of any and every extraordinary experience or luxury that is on this beautiful Earth to behold. 

As you embrace your Higher Self and draw your light into this experience on Gaia, she will unfold to each of your truest desires. Detach from all that you have believed to be true about yourself, good and bad, limiting and unlimiting and experience yourself as you truly are. 

Who and what people believe you to be are only skewed reflections of themselves steeped in duality of good and bad, angel and devil. These perceptions are not yours to move through: stay connected and responsible for your vibration, plant the seed of your truth and those seeds may germinate in accordance with others' higher self. Your task is to change your world and your reality into a higher vibratory state, the highest you can achieve. The people and experiences will follow suit. 

Awake. Arise. Elevate.

The Other Person is You

There is no such thing as heartbreak, only the death of the ego and the emotional fall-out of unmanifest expectation.
Even having an expectation of how it shouldn’t be is an expectation.
Love is an eternal flow that most people misconstrue as flights of fancy brought on by chemicals in the brain. 
Love is far more prevalent and powerful than those flights of fancy and the ego must be removed from the equation completely to truly connect with eternal love.

All of this time there is infatuation with another person but the only person you are ever loving is yourself as it must be recognized that the other person is you. 

The other person that is irritating and selfish is you, angry and childish, you, you, you. 

The other person is forevermore you. 
In all relationships, in every relationship, in every encounter or experience be it bad or good, the other person is you.

 How do you love yourself and treat yourself internally and externally:
 what is your self talk?
do you move from a place of joy, love, and happiness or 
do you attach to fleeting emotions and act out?

If we are to bring Heaven to Earth, you must become a worthy Queen 
and each person must be treated as such for they too are a worthy Queen. 
Each person is an incarnation of God with the very same animation of creation, 
a vibrational being constructed of pure love and consciousness,
the God spark reincarnating over and over again, 
so you may continuously meet the challenge to love yourself yourself yourself.

Love yourself, yourself, yourself. 

Heal yourself  by loving yourself and so the Earth shall heal.

Dispel Darkness

Darkness is being dispelled from your space both individually and on a much larger scale. It may be confusing to experience and observe because it is seen as very violent and hateful, but you should think of a very bright spotlight shining into the darkest places of your psyche and society, dissipating darkness. Think of those who have left their Earthly bodies on a soul level and know that their soul is now free to help our transcendence on a higher and more free vibratory level. Those who have left their Earthly bodies are still with you, only now they dwell in the higher vibratory level of pure divine love. You can choose to join them in this space of divine love as it is the only space that will truly create change in your Earthly reality. 

The most challenging thing you will ever do is love those who have injured the ones you love -- your "enemy", the very people who have taken the lives of the innocent. You think this is impossible and it reeks of injustice but love is the only justice. Love is the binding force that brings us together to change the world we are experiencing. Every single person has a very specific role in this world, in this unfolding and revealing of the light, dispelling of the darkness; and if you perpetuate the duality of right and wrong, fear and hatred, you play into the hands of darkness. 

This time, more than ever, is a time to forgive and love. Forgive and love your "enemies", forgive and love those who you believe are at fault for the crime and hatred, forgive those who act and react to fear in their heart. Surprise yourself by moving into your heart space so completely that you no longer view the world by the limits of duality but instead, encompass all through a lens of love and acceptance. This will be the most challenging thing you have ever attempted as it will upset everything that you have believed to be true but that is the path. The path to liberation from pain and suffering is to leave behind everything you know and believe and move through absolute acceptance and love. It is the only way. 

You will never know or understand the scope of beauty and connection that awaits you if you do not release the duality that distracts you from Truth. Now is the time for oneness and connection. When an affront is caused to mankind it affects everyone including the person responsible for the affront. It touches all and it is not limited to those with specific physical qualities or considerations. Your obsession with characterization, quantifying and qualifying by way of the physical is a sickness of the human mind and now is the time to transcend the human mind and awaken to the power of the heart. 

If you cannot love everyone as your brother including those who have done harm than you are bound by the sickness of duality and you are part of what must be shifted. The path is inward. Create peace in your mind and heart, create the feeling of peace in your body and you will automatically create peace around you - it will radiate from you and you will have helped create a more peaceful world in which to dwell. It is that simple. 

Can you face the darkness that is being displaced and meet it with acceptance and love? What darkness must you alleviate from your own inner being? What reaction comes up from the chaos of the world within you that must be confronted with love? Where does fear dwell in your heart? Are you strong enough to face your fears and judgments and stand in acceptance and choose to move forward in love? 

How do you meet this darkness and how shall you move through it? Dear one, choose love and peace. 

And so it shall be.

What is the answer?

The answer is to keep going and do not be dismayed at the appearance of your life as it is now, so much change is coming. Things as they are now are only temporary and if you choose to be overcome by the thoughts of what is not here, you will be choosing to stay in the situation that you are in and you will not be in the space to allow yourself to receive anything different. 

Perhaps you have lost sight of all that there is to be grateful for and the extraordinary times that you are living in. Return to gratitude but not only as thoughts; as a feeling. The universe responds to feelings and how you are feeling will be the catalyst of attraction into your life. Create better feelings even if that means recalling a time when you experienced joyful feelings naturally and without thought or consideration. The more you experience a certain feeling in your body, the easier it will be to create that same feeling in your body at any given circumstance and you may begin manifesting experiences on the same vibrational level. 

Perhaps you may begin by taking inventory of the feelings that are naturally occurring in your existence that have prompted you to ask your Higher Self for the answer to begin with. Confusion is not a feeling but a lack of a decision that keeps you swimming in stagnation while things flow all around you and yet you are not included in the flow. Make a decision and open to a new set of circumstances and begin to navigate the new set of circumstances without going over it and wondering what could have been: there is only what is. Do not make a decision by logic or thinking but again, by feeling. Come of out your head and into your heart and as you choose the path of your heart, things will flow to you effortlessly.

Death of the Ego Self

Everything acts as liquid and is vibrated into density or being as your senses collect it and your brain discerns if from Source Field. With practice, "laws" of natural order will cease to be valid and the processes from deep imagination can meet you in "reality" and so much more. In order to move into this creating space, you must give up everything you know to be true about life as you know it now. Your life must have a new set of rules (or lack thereof) and everything you have been taught as important or relevant must be released.

This releasing of what you know to be true can be very closely linked to your ego. Your character and who you have defined yourself to be will be dissipated into the actuality of who you really are -- light and Source energy. The world that you desire to create will more easily be had by connecting and reconnecting and continually connecting in every single moment to your Higher Self. In this connection, your ego and who you now believe yourself to be will be irrelevant, the things (illusions) you have believed to be true will  be irrelevant and you shall experience peace and expansion and find your greatest power as your destiny as a light being.

This will be a challenging time for those who are far removed from their Higher Self, they will be plagued with lower vibrational emotions of fear, angst, anxiety and depression. Everyone is experiencing exactly what they need to experience to learn the lessons they must learn and you can help by changing the field in which they are experiencing it through meditation. Join with others of like mind and practice and create a peaceful matrix for them to work through the falling away of the ego self as the veils lift and the grand illusion of life is revealed.

The ego death can be extremely difficult and each one of us will experience ego death as the illusions are revealed. Some may cling so helplessly to their illusions and ego world because of their inability of faith and belief in our Sole Creator, that they will not be able to shift toward their Higher Being and "new created reality" and will chose to remain locked in illusion. This will be very painful and it will quickly become a game of survival and destruction.  Do not dwell in fear, do not dwell in fear of the people destructing in illusion or in a society destructing in illusion: all of us are being led back to oneness, it is a choice how you get there. Will you begin to acknowledge your Higher Being in this waking incarnation in this physical body or must your journey back to light begin to excel only at the transition from life to death?

At all stages of life incarnate, we are working toward our Higher Self whether you acknowledge it or not: every choice is a choice to step closer to light or to step away from light. Now, these times of transition are upon us and there is a path to be paved to the Golden Age. Coming in to the understanding of being your Higher Self right now and in every waking moment, you can experience great shifts in your consciousness. What decision will you make? Will you chose to awaken and pave the way or do you choose to remain blinded in illusion/distraction?

At each step in your awakening, go inward.
Bring your Higher Self into this world and this reality: embody the God that you are right now.
Stay in light and transform the vibration of the Source Field  to elevate all who encounter it, which is everyone.

All is one, we are we.

And so it shall be.

Breathe and Expand

You have been replenished and your voice is strong with that which dwells in your heart. Allow nothing to deter you  from moving forth the whispers of your heart manifest into the shouts of your life fully and consciously created.

More and more you are realizing your own power and the more you move into acceptance and control of this power, the more you will inspire those around you to connect with their highest good. Your path is only beginning and the more you move into acceptance and align with the flow of your inner self, the better and better your life will be. 

All you need to know in terms of what you are doing and where you are going is to say "I am breathing". So long as you are breathing, you are exactly where you need to be, engaged in the actions you need to be engaged in.

Your emotions are the most simple guide to understanding this exact moment so you must be aware of your emotions at every moment of the day. Your emotion coupled with a thought will tell you everything you need to know about that thought and if it indeed serves your highest good.

In other words, you have a thought and it brings confusion and angst: that thought does not serve your highest good. There is no "figuring it out", there is no thinking your way into or out of a situation, only right action and wrong action. Right action creates peace and ease, wrong action creates suffering and more of what you don't want. 

Doesn't it feel good to feel good? 

Do you believe that you can continuously create this feeling of feeling good in every moment of your life? 

Being human is so tragically beautiful; your natural human form has a very distinct way of creating your reality within the functions of hormones and subconscious programming that can often lead you to believe in something other than Truth; that Truth being that you are meant for everlasting joy and happiness in every moment. 

Can't you feel the expanse of your soul, can't you feel the oneness of your true being as you moon gaze and star search? 

Don't you see your beautiful Divine reflection of self in the flowing of the river and in the rustle of the leaves? 

Are you not content with being an extension of this limitless universe, carrying the spark of creation in every thought you think and every breath you breathe? 

Can you release what you think you know to be amazed and dazzled by what truly is? 

Can you release what you think might happen to allow yourself to align with the greatness that is awaiting you? 

The breadth of what awaits you cannot be conceived by your current mind and we lovingly urge you to expand. How can you bring more light into your being right here, right now, as you are? 

Breathe into your heart and expand. 

In every moment breathe into your heart and expand. 

Again, breathe into your heart and expand. 


As you are, breathe into your heart and expand. 


A world of your loving creation awaits you. 

Breathe into your heart and expand. 

Joy awaits you. 

Breathe and expand.

Go Outside

Go outside. Be outside and take your shoes off and connect with Mother Earth. Touch your bare skin to the surface of the Earth and allow yourself to be nourished. Take time to stare off into the branches and see the sunlight dance through the leaves and listen to all of the sounds that surround you. Go walk by the water and engage all of your senses in the healing space of Mother Nature. Renew yourself, let the business of keeping everything moving and flowing in your life be quiet and calm and reconnect with the rhythm of nature. 

Sit by a tree, at the very base of it. As you look upward into the branches sprawling above you, imagine that same structure rooted underneath you, exactly mirroring every twist and tangle and be enveloped in the calming energy of this life-giving tree. Know that it holds you and recharges you in its space, as above, so below. Give to this tree that which weighs on you, thoughts and memories, your worries and your stresses perhaps by way of breath, speaking through your heart or mind or perhaps pressing your energies into the Earth. 

There are so many benevolent being on this Earth that are here to guide you, help you and heal you. They are living, breathing entities who shall invigorate you with their healing energies but you must mindfully approach them. Do not be fooled by society's race and distracting toys, and instead connect that which is life force incarnate and you will find yourself refreshed. 

If it is found to be impossible to find your way into nature today then close your eyes and be quiet. As you are quiet and your thoughts slow, move into your imagination and create nature. Engage in each and every sense in that which you create to surround you and you too shall be refreshed for nature is a return to your highest self. As we are all connected, that which grows the leaves on the oak tree also grows the hair on your head. Even by engaging in the active imagination of nature, you shall also return you to it. 

Don't worry: pray. For the moment you pray your prayer has been heard and has reached the very person it was meant to heal and the very situation it was meant to rectify: so it is in this quantum universe. 

To be healed you must dwell in healing practices by engaging in thoughts and emotions of love and not limiting emotions of fear and worry. To be healed you must return to your being in light through experiences of nature, soul body and breath. Do not distract yourself with other's story lines of gossip or television entertainment. To be healed you must find your way back to your self (Source) and you can start by going outside. 

And so it shall be.

Be a Helper

Take care of yourself and manage your emotional well-being. You are capable of daily joy and happiness and you cultivate that joy and happiness by asserting your presence in your body and engaging with every person you encounter with your whole heart. Each person that you encounter is an incarnation of the Divine and treating them as such will reflect your inner light and elevate the entire encounter. 

There is a lot of fear and misunderstanding in the world and you must stay out of these lower vibrations. Be a beacon of love and light where those who dwell in lower vibrations can find solace. These atrocities happening in the world will not stop and may even become more pronounced as energy shifts through the planet. Know that you are safe and your mission is needed more than ever as the planet is now experiencing the dark night of the soul. You are guided and you are guarded in higher dimensions and you must actively guide and guard your energy field by staying out of fear. 

Be a helper, be a guide to light for others. Serve others in any way that you can: through prayer, through listening and acknowledging, or even by assisting as others work through their fear. So much can be done by simply being present with another and acknowledging their path and their energies. Do not get stuck in attempting to understand but move directly to love, the all-encompassing energy that ignites and overcomes all that is occurring. Love someone because they are alive, love someone because they are part of this karmic cycle of life, trying to learn the lessons as a communal group to ascend collectively to a higher level of being. Every single being on this Earth matters and has a very specific part to play in this grand narrative of life. Understand that and engage with others and invite them to feel part of something larger. 

The time to come together as people is now. Banish your beliefs and your personal boundaries that serve to quantify and qualify mankind as "other". Choose to recognize the light in each person as the underlying truth, as our common denominator. Band together as light beings experiencing this Earthly human experience and your suffering shall see its end. Recognize your divine nature and acknowledge the same divine nature in others and uplift one another to the vibration of love. Know that the only way out of this lower vibrational suffering is to unite as people of Earth: join hands and energies with your brothers and sisters of Earth and be one. 

It all starts with you. 

And so it shall be.

Why Do You Torture Yourself So?

Dear one, why you do you torture yourself so? Why do you seek to understand and in that seeking to understand drag yourself through so many lower vibrations and emotions? What else must happen for you to gather yourself and ascend to higher levels? Words are very important and we understand that you do not want to go back on your word, but have you? Can you keep your word and continue moving forward? do you not see that the bond that the two of you created cannot contain you and your purpose? If you look at the flow of events, what is best moving forward, is he even an option anymore? What else in the whole world is holding you back but this tired story line? 

Why are you clinging to the remnants of a tattered union? As you have gone back over the events of that union has it served your purpose and your happiness? have the events brought light and love into your heart or have you dwelled in shadow long enough?

Dear one, don' you trust in God to know that we have so much waiting for you? Don't you have faith that we have a grand plan that will bring love and incredible experiences of joy and peace into your existence? Why can you not trust in God and release your old ties? Do you truly desire to allow this to continue dragging your mornings into the mud and muck of emotions and disappointment? This other person no longer holds you in this space, you hold yourself here. 

Can releasing these ties be the untethering that is needed to truly walk in your Higher Path? What will it take to release yourself of this and fully accept and acknowledge your love for yourself, your power, your abundance, your awaiting energy success and joy, fulfillment of your heart's desires and your wildest dreams? 

You understand and enjoy ceremony; could this part of your life be sacrifice for the magnificence of what is to come? Or will you choose to stay within your sacrifice and allow it to burn you alive internally?

Today is a Beautiful Day

Today is a beautiful day. Declare it so and move forward to create it as such. All of the things that weigh you down can be shifted and seen as great blessings if you desire to change your perspective. The things that aren't working out or are in lack are not the things you should focus upon. Stop being a failure in your own eyes. Stop wading around in heavy thoughts as if they will suddenly make you feel better. Stop going over and over the situations that need to rest and draw all of it to zero: a point of stillness where energies rest and can be utilized in more important places in your life and overall day to day activities. 

The fluctuations of the mind and emotions run with great force and you will be better prepared to be steady through them if you are grounded in your spiritual self day after day. This is a centering in a universal power that is larger than your fluctuations but encompasses them as movement within the greater whole. Your shift from happy to sad, your heavy emotional weight and your desire to go over it and over it again is purely your human quality desiring understanding and it is a blessing and a lesson: it is the exact experience you need to have to crack open your casing and expose your inner light. 

Your experiences are difficult because you are ready for this level of difficulty, you are ready for the height of the awakening that is happening on every level of your being. There are parts of you that have already moved on and there are parts of you that are stuck in the mud. Gather yourself in peace, in stillness. Move energy when things arise and be the powerful stillness that encompasses the fluctuations because your foundation is firm and unmoving in love; your foundation is in God and this foundation and alignment in your Higher Self sustains you through the inconsistencies of experiences of emotional commotion.

The Choice in Every Waking Moment

When you are not connected to your Higher Self, you undergo and experience much turmoil. Your inner self desires expression as energy moving and manifesting into your time/space reality. When you do not allow that energy to flow, it stirs in the body as a pacing tiger and misemotions occur like anxiety and angst. Your mind also spins in this energy as you seek to find an external source and explanation when truly it is your Highest Source requesting expression.

You have created much hardship in your life and where your life meets with other's lives because of your disconnection with your inner self. Do not feel shame or sadness because of these hardships because your life has been set up to teach you these lessons just as those hardships were written into other's experiences as tools of growth and learning. All is unfolding as it should in perfect timing. 

Know that every waking moment is a choice. Every waking moment you can decide to vibrate at the higher frequency of love within intuition or you can decide to commit to the limited experience of your bodily indulgences and desires. Know that you can choose what your eyes gaze upon and where you feed your appetite and at what stage of purity you indulge. Do you feed your Higher Self or do you feed yourself with explicit language, violence and preservatives? 

You are the grand creator of your life above all else. If something is not the way you desire it, change your reality. You can change your reality by changing your thoughts, it is that simple. You allow yourself as much power as you allow yourself. You allow yourself as much worth as you allow yourself. If people outside of yourself are assigning your power and worth, it is because you are allowing it. What would you have to believe to be powerful in your life? What are the details of the story in which you are joyful and worthy of your own love? Imagine that story, imagine the feelings involved, imagine what would have to be true then close your eyes and hold those feelings and those truths into a grand imaginative fairy tale, so to speak. Create a door just outside that fairy tale and as every details finds its place, open that door and walk into a new reality. It can be that easy. Constantly create the feelings you desire to feel and the experiences you want to experience. 

You are as divine as you decide yourself to be. Set flowers at your bed side because here sleeps an incarnation of God, in all her grace and majesty. Sit in stillness and silence in reverence of your shining love. 

And so it shall be.

Awake Arise Elevate

Write, keep writing even when there is nothing to express, keep the pen moving on the paper continuously strengthening the connection with your ego self aside: without the voice of judgement  that relays false messages of worthiness, talent and skill. Stay out of your own way by allowing your thoughts to constantly flow and don't grasp onto any one thought and allow that thought to move into a storyline. Acknowledge and move on, acknowledge and move on. Knowing that you assign relevance to any given thought or idea so if a specific thought doesn't feel good, do not assign it relevance and let it go -- there are many more joyful thoughts that can take its place.

How would you like your life to be? How would you like to feel in your life? Do you believe you can create the feeling that you desire in your life when the events in your life are less than good? Do you believe you can create the feeling of joy when the circumstances in your life are less than joyful? Because the moment you begin to create the feeling in your body, the closer you are to achieving that level of being and the sooner the circumstances of your life heighten to match the feeling you have created. 

Do not rest in your contentment. Attempt something that your ego self thinks is too hard and that your ego self says you are not ready for. Listen to the passionate stirrings in your heart and try something that pushes the limits of your comfort level and capability. Remind yourself of your extraordinary human abilities that have stayed dormant in your comfortable existence and daily routine. Turn off the distractions that seep your invaluable energies and awaken to the reality that now is the time to be the person you always desired to be. Awaken to the reality that you are only held back by your false ego beliefs and step out of the shadow of ego and into the expanse of your own light. Awaken to the reality that there is no one in the universe just like you, there is no one else with your unique set of experiences and talents, and you have something amazing to share with others -- a voice and a perspective that can uplift and change the way others interact with the world. 

Arise to the challenge of moving outside of your comfort zone and cultivating the gifts you have to offer and watch your reality change dramatically. Do not ask opinions or seek to measure your worth by how it is received but know that by engaging in uniquely who you are, you are engaging in your life's work, you are creating your biggest gift to the world and rest in peace that you have answered your calling, fulfilled your life's duties. 

Elevate your view and elevate the world.

The Inner Voice and Meditation

Open your heart and receive messages as feelings and attempt to recognize your inner voice from the chatter of your internal dialogue and listen to the suggestions of your inner voice. Those heart whispers can be small suggestions like a person to call or connect with, an urge to go somewhere or take part in something -- answer the urge, answer the call because on the other side of that suggestion  is a synchronistic opportunity that will move you along your path. Perhaps it is the person you must meet or the experience you must have to inspire your next work.

Your inner voice is always here, lovingly guiding you at every moment to go and do what is in your highest interest and it is necessary to quiet the chatter that obstructs your inner voice from being heard and acknowledged. Like all things of God and Divinity, your inner voice is a gentle whisper like the wind under the wings of a butterfly and to hear this inner whisper, the storms of thought must be calm for a butterfly cannot flourish on the turbulent winds of storm. 

Meditation is as simple as you decide it to be. Like most things that are meant to bring joy and vitality, there is not much effort to be applied and where stress and effort are applied, the graceful flow is obstructed. Do not fight the river of thought, flow with it and as the river widens around the bends of your mind soon enough you shall arrive at the expanse of inner consciousness and then you may hear: listen and be enchanted by your inner voice. 

If you are not meditating, you shall not understand the profound times. Daily meditation is exactly what you believe it to be and the ease of meditation is just a few thoughts away from changing the belief you hold about meditation. In other words, if you hold the belief "meditation is hard and I am not good at it", you can create a new belief by engaging with the thought "meditation is simple and I happily meditate everyday". How much easier would it be to engage in a meditation practice if it were met with joy and ease instead of all the lower emotions that are assigned to it?  Are you not the master of your life that gets to dictate the ease in which your life is run? Are you not the ultimate decision-maker on what is valuable and necessary in your belief structure?

Meditation is a point of focus and that point of focus can be applied to any number of places: internally to the point of zero, absolute stillness or perhaps pointed outside of yourself engaged in creative activity. Creative activity is always working with the Divine. As God is the ultimate Creator so too does God channel through you as you engage in the activities of creation, whatever that medium is for you. Meditation is not limited to a seated position with eyes closed, but again can be whatever point of focus you decide it to be. When you so intently focus on a project, artistic endevour or activity of the body, does all thought energy not cease as your internal energies are funneled into the task at hand? Do that everyday. Still the turbulence of thought and welcome the guidance of your Higher Self and choose to be guided in every moment of every day and stand in awe as your dreams begin to unfold before you. 

And so it shall be.

When It Falls Apart

Nothing has transpired that you did not know was coming. Be in peace as all of these things are in Divine order and moving according to plan. (These heavy thoughts) serve as a distraction and we urge you not to be distracted because your connection to your Higher Self will be the sweetest and most rewarding connection you will ever cultivate and keep. Your connection to your Higher Self and your Higher Truth is the only place you can safely dwell and stay out of confusion and disappointment and all of the other lower emotional vibrations that come along with placing expectations outside of yourself and on outside relationships.

Your heart is safe in your keeping. your journey is visualized by your inner sight and your intuition. Asking someone to co-create makes this journey less of yours. Yes, there are wonderful things to be said and felt about sharing your journey with another and you will share this journey with another, you will share this journey with many others. Now, rejoice that you are the single creator that is being guided by your Truth and this shall be the path of highest accomplishment.

We see how bothered you are by some of the thing that have transpired and we see that you are continually allowing yourself to be hurt by aspects of relationship dynamics and we say this to you: you are on a different path than the one that is giving you difficulty and your core truths are different. The longer you allow yourself to be hurt by the same things in different forms, the longer you identify with your ego self and the less time you spend in Divine Love where there is no pain, there is no suffering or miscommunication or confusion. In Divine Love there is only perfection and truth and knowledge, all for your pleasure and expansion and entertainment.

Your time and space is so limited to being experienced by your limited human form and all you must do to surpass your limitations is transcend your human experience which can be as simple as closing your eyes. To move through the unpleasant experiences is the same as moving through the pleasant; be grateful for what arises and admire the sharp contrasts that more clearly point you in the direction of your heart's desires. Appreciate the misemotions as candles lighting your way on a seemingly dark path and don't stop to warm your hands by that candle but continue forward with the anticipation of the raging fire that will warm your entire being.

Dear one, you cannot know what beauty and delight will come of your experience from here but we urge you with love and with a more expansive view to continue your journey inward. All of the pieces are falling into place just as they should, give up the outcome, give up the understanding, give up the effort and know from that still, silent space inside of you that all is well.

And so it shall be.

Distraction and Anger

Write everyday, everyday as if your life depends on writing the word. Do not get distracted by your sensual wiles and monitor your thoughts constantly. While it may seem harmless to entertain storylines in your imagination, when you play into those storylines, you give them energy and creation and it is your writing and your purpose that needs the majority of your energy and creation because it is through your purpose that all is coming -- all you desire, the manifestation of your biggest dreams. The more you allow yourself to be distracted by your body and your urges, the more you take yourself away from manifesting your desires and the further away the realizations of your manifestations.

Focused energy into your purpose, that is the name of the season. You have taken many downloads and have done good work in your dream state and integration. Now it is time to move energy and awaken dormant forces within you to be a creator of vibration through the written word.

We appreciate your most recent experiences because you have stepped into the knowing of supported, excited, fulfilling, energized life outside of the confines of the relationship that you have bound yourself to. As you know, you must be able to focus outside of that realm and that is your challenge this season: to let the unnecessary fall away and be in love with your purpose and your truth, be the connection of your inner voice and bridge the gap  between who you are and who you present to the world. Engaging in your sensual world at this point will draw experiences to you that are a vibrational fit for you here and now and will keep you locked in this vibrational frequency.

Dear one, your expansion has just begun and you must press on by leaning into who you really are. You must continue to ascend up the ladder of the spine and as you continue upward in vibrational frequency, you will begin to attract those at a higher frequency and you will begin to manifest relationships and experiences that will bring incredible people and pleasure into your life that from here, cannot be imagined, entertained or understood. Continue inward and thus upward, do not be distracted by small pleasures or those distractions will only serve to prolong the arrival of your truest pleasure.

Sat Nam, truth is my identity and whatever satisfies the soul is truth. What is anger? 

Anger is a secondary emotion that is created when the primary emotions go overlooked or unexpressed. Emotion is energy in motion and anger is created when a primary emotion is restricted in it's motion, perhaps it is held in the stomach or the throat and it spins and spins until the emotion has created so much potential energy and momentum that it is accelerated out through a burst of passionate "anger". This is not always a socially acceptable experience and so anger may be held in the system much longer and when this happens, it reeks havoc on the body, turning against the body by creating dis-ease in the organs and overall function of the internal physical form.

Be Love

Allow yourself to be in love everyday.
Wild, harmonious, undeniable love with everyone you meet and encounter, beginning and ending with yourself: silently and within stillness, emanating divine love from your heart center, take a moment to be love. And as you spend this silent, still moment embodying love, set your intention to be consciously aware of your beingness of love at every moment throughout the day. 

Fall in love with this new day and bring to it a new set of circumstances that has never existed for you, bring to it a new boundlessness that has never existed for you. Become aware of the limitless potential that exists for you as you emanate pure divine love and only amazing and synchronistic events will occur for you today. 

See in yourself all the beauty that exists  in each expression of life, breath, and divine love and be a mirror of that beauty to everyone you encounter today. Be the person whose presence lifts the vibration of all you meet.  Be the sweet breeze that accompanies the purifying light of the sun and lifts the spirits of everyone it touches. Be the scent that stirs the senses and puts a pleasant smile on the face of everyone it graces. Speak the words that unlock the melodies of divine hymns and allow all who hear it to resonate in divine love, the absolute highest of vibration. 

Take the time to center yourself in this space and then move forward as the most gentle of God's warriors and radiate your gifts outward from heart center and create a graceful infantry of lovers. A revolution of people reaching out to one another, of seeing one another and speaking kindly of one another and helping one another. An infantry of people concerned and loving themselves and their brothers and sister who are merely a reflection of their own inner being. This all begins with you, gentle warrior, tuning in to your limitless divine love and loving yourself to such an extent that all you can but help to give and be is pure joyous love. 

And so it shall be.

An Experience of Anxiety Dedicated to my Yogi Veterans

Each Monday I have the pleasure of teaching yoga to a wonderful group of military veterans at our local VA clinic. I feel so very connected to this group as I too am a veteran. They are a wonderful group of yogis that support each other in ways that are not present outside of shared experience. Each time I leave after teaching, I am inspired and uplifted by their dedication to their yoga practice and their camaraderie with one another. I wrote this after leaving our last meeting and dedicate it to them with all my heart. 

A note on anxiety, for my fellow veterans…

Anxiety is something I have dealt with and continue to deal with on a regular basis. Practicing yoga has helped to manage it and the more I practice, the more I am able to take little bits of wisdom (wisdom is knowledge experienced) off of the mat and apply it to my everyday life.

I find that I experience anxiety when I am trying something new, doing something I haven’t done before or going somewhere surrounded by people I don't know. I had an experience just the other day that I would like to share to expound upon this point.

On the first day of Spring or the Vernal Equinox, I was invited to teach a kids yoga class at Olmos Basin Park for an LGTBQ Community Easter Egg Hunt. Kids yoga is a funny thing, you really have to get down on the level of the child to communicate the teachings. It is not done as an adult yoga class, but instead there is a larger play aspect to it: crawling around like a lion or buzzing like a bee, for example. This play aspect serves to teach kids to engage in deep breathing or getting them to move their body in and out of certain yoga poses. Perhaps it goes without being said, but you can’t take yourself too seriously when teaching a kids yoga class, it must be done with a light heart and your ego must be out of the equation entirely. In other words, comfort level must be super high.

Headed to Olmos Basin Park, my internal dialogue was non-stop and brutal: "I do not want to go, I do not want to teach, what would the parents think?, how could I be in control of that many kids in an outdoor setting, I do not want to go, I DO NOT WANT TO GO!..."

On a side note, this chatter doesn’t only happen when I am teaching kids yoga, this happens for regular yoga classes,  and everyday activities like leaving the house or keeping plans that I've made that sounded good when I made them…  I call these thoughts resistance.  Just like the resistance I encounter when I sit down to do a long breathing practice and feel like I want to wiggle, check my e-mail, pet my cat, do ANYTHING other than what I have sat down to do: breathe. The more that I lean into the breathing, the more the resistance (thoughts/feelings, it’s different for each person) makes itself heard, at first. Once I hit the 5 minute mark (more or less) in my breathing practice, that resistance starts to fall away and soon enough, the breath becomes my full focus.

Returning to my trip to Olmos Basin Park, I was hearing this relentless internal dialogue (resistance) and this resistance was creating an obstacle. In the past, I may have listened to these thoughts and relented, going home instead of meeting my obligation. Instead, because of my work with and through resistance, I was able to see those thoughts as just that. Knowing these thoughts as resistance, I said thank you for allowing yourself to be known, Release.

 Release.

 Release.

 Release.

 And I continued with release instead of giving these thoughts energy and following them along their story line of how awful this was going to be, how much I didn’t want to do it, etc.. At times, my internal dialogue has been so powerful that I say the word Release right out loud, allowing it to be like lightning through the clouds of thought. It may not work right away, but repetition is key. 

This isn’t to say the rest of my afternoon went off without a hitch, I was a big hit and the sun shone upon my brilliant yoga moment. Not at all. When I arrived at the park, even with my repetition of release, I felt anxiety in my body: the desire to run, the desire to yell, the pricking on my skin that makes me feel like my insides are coming out. So I took a long moment on the outskirts of the crowd, took my shoes off and put my bare feet on Mother Earth, put my hand over my heart and just began to breathe long and deep.

Crowds overwhelm me. I get into the middle of a big crowd and I don’t know where I end and someone else begins. I feel so much from those around me that I don’t know what is mine and what belongs to others. A lot of the time, I don’t know what to do with myself and I don’t know how to act because I feel so overwhelmed. This is where grounding comes in and that is exactly what I created when I took my shoes off and began to breathe. It’s true that you can’t always take your shoes off (although I take my shoes off far more than is socially “acceptable”) to feel the Earth under your feet. Other ways of grounding are to imagine pressing all of your energy into the Earth (with bent knees), this is called bioenergetic grounding (it’s not just a hippie yoga thing… there’s a science to it!). Deep breathing and humming are also good grounding techniques as grounding serves to take you out of your head (thoughts) and into your body (presence).

I probably stood on the outskirts of the crowd for a good 5-7 minutes before venturing in to find my contact to begin the process of teaching kids yoga. As I walked through the crowd, engaging with strangers to find my contact person, I reminded myself that I am the only one who knows I am freaking out and as long as I was smiling, no one would be any the wiser. I kept my hand on my heart as a reminder of my body, my breath and my presence.

After that whole (internal) ordeal, I didn’t get the opportunity to teach kids yoga. The way the scheduling was flowing didn’t allow for a yoga session and I ended up leaving the park without rolling over the ground with a bunch of kiddos hissing like a cobra. After all that! I will share this with you, I left the park feeling like a freaking champion that I had overcome all of those heavy thoughts and feelings that were trying to obstruct my experience. I felt like I had overcome myself and I was loving me and loving my yoga experience to know that I can move through resistance, whatever it looks like.

This is just one small experience with anxiety that at times, threatens to become crippling. What I hope to highlight by sharing this experience is that my greatest battles are the battles I fight internally, with myself: my thoughts, constant narration, and overwhelming emotions. The tools that I have learned through yoga are my weapons in this battle. I am a warrior and I will overcome. You are a warrior and you too shall overcome. 

I am reminded of an old Indian adage that makes a beautiful conclusive note:

“One evening, an elderly Cherokee brave told his Grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
 He said, ‘my son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all. One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is good, it is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.’
The grandson thought a moment and asked the grandfather, ‘which wolf wins? ‘

The old Cherokee replied, ‘the one that you feed’.”

The Evolution of the Energetic Human: The High Heart Chakra

The chakras (literally 'wheels' in Sanskrit) are spinning vortices of energy in the body beginning at the root (and home of kundalini energy) to the auric field surrounding the body. These energetic centers are connected through channels or nadhis that serve to circulate subtle energy through the entire human system. In the kundalini lineage, there are 8 main chakras and each energy center within the physical body coincides with a specific endocrine gland which serves to secrete hormones into the circulatory system. Each chakra has an associated color, mantra (sound), symbol, element, body part, and basic function. For more information on these chakras, check out 3HO's website here.

This is a very broad and basic explanation of the chakra system and through extended study, each illness and physical manifestation can be traced back to the chakra system, a powerful tool indeed.

This basic explanation will have to do as the point of this blog is to introduce a lesser-known chakra called the "high heart" or "unified heart" chakra.




The high heart chakra center is located halfway between the heart and the throat charkas. If you picture a deep green color spinning around it's center at the heart and blue spinning out of the throat chakra, the high heart would meet right where the 2 spinning colors collide, creating a turquoise color at the sternum.  The powerful energy of unconditional  love (heart chakra) is given expression (throat chakra) at the high heart and this is our intimate connection to all of the aspects and elements of the natural world including our fellow humans. 


The high heart is associated with Thymus gland, located in the upper anterior part of your chest, directly behind your sternum and nestled between your lungs. It serves a double function as part of the endocrine system and lymphatic system where white blood cells (lymphocytes) pass through the Thymus gland and are transformed into T cells. T cells, once matured, migrate to the lymph nodes and are distributed through the body to help fight disease. (All Thymus information from EndocrineWeb).

What is unique about the Thymus gland is it is largest in children (much like the human fascination with the natural world) and as puberty unfolds, the Thymus gland begins to slowly shrink and it is ultimately replaced with fat. This process is very similar to any organ or muscle group that goes underutilized or is no longer energetically supported, it atrophies and slowly dies.

Our Call Back to Nature

This chakra is an ancient energy center and once served mankind when we were living close to nature and instinctively understood natural laws as a mechanism of survival. The closing down of this center is one of the challenges taken on when humans began exploring dense physical reality and separation from Source. As we experience the energetic shifts of the Aquarian Age and are moving back toward our light body, this is the first of the ancient chakras to be reawakened and assist in the ascension up the spine.

It's become very difficult to ignore our need to return to nature as media inundates us with reports of global warming, animal extinction, overwhelming trash (and radiation) strewn through our oceans, and much more. Mankind's misuse of natural resources and obsession with disposable goods has created a catastrophic situation on the only planet in our solar system fit for human life and many animals have long ago fell prey to our greed and carelessness. The outer collective world is mirroring the inner collective world as violence, greed, and restlessness have become the norm. It's important to stay out of fear and stay connected to higher energy centers, reawakening our connection to the natural world beginning with (and not limited to) the high heart.

There is inspiring evidence of this awakening through innovative young people like Boyan Slat, founder and CEO of The Ocean Cleanup (www.theoceancleanup.com) where they are initiating the biggest ocean clean up in history. Adidas is answering the call with a prototype shoe designed out of ocean trash (read CNET's article here). There are amazing movements taking form through Bill Mollison's 1970's creation of Permaculture coupled with Earthship Biotecture (www.earthship.com) to change the way we live to a more sustainable standard. Sustainability aside, breakthroughs have been made with the likes of Blackfish and change is on the horizon with legislation being passed in California to halt the breeding of captive orcas. The truths surrounding United States animal farming practices are continuously being called to light and people are waking up to the reality of cruelty and demanding change.

Most importantly, this chakra serves to connect us to our fellow man, transcending belief systems and moving into acceptance and unconditional love for one another. We were all humans before we were disconnected by race, separated by religious dogma, divided by political beliefs, and classified by wealth and income. It is time to transcend these man-made barriers that only serve to separate us from one another and acknowledge the true Source and our connection to It and one another.

Practice to Energize the High Heart


Awakening this energy center is as simple as bringing this chakra into your chakra meditations. You can begin by imagining the swirling green at the heart and watch as the color branches out and connect with the spinning blue of the throat. In this space between heart and throat, continue to imagine a swirling turquoise. Light tapping on the sternum while holding the above visual may have profound effects as well. There is also the option of working with an intuitive healer/energy worker and allowing them to facilitate this initiation into higher spiritual levels.


We may not awaken overnight although very strong energetic shifts are currently happening all around us. It is an unfolding, an opening of the lotus flower that is supported by kindness and compassion to ourselves and one another. Energizing the high heart chakra (and the thymus gland) can energize your entire system as well as stimulate your immune system and you may find yourself getting sick less often  or recovering much faster from illness if it occurs. It may also bring you more in line with your spiritual gifts and awaken your inner healer. The benefits of awakening this area are many and the time is now. Know that you are only limited by your beliefs and that you have a purpose on this Earth.

Awake. Arise. Elevate.

My Journey Through a 40 Day Breathing Practice

On Monday, January 18th, 40 days out from White Tantric Yoga, I began an alternate nostril breathing practice for 11 minutes each day. My intention with this practice was to clear my energy channels (nadhis) in preparation to give and receive all of the awaiting gifts from my White Tantric experience at the end of this month (THIS SATURDAY!). Moreover, January was very much about digesting: digesting difficult experiences from 2015, digesting expectations for the year to come, and doing the daily work of digesting all the different energies that I encounter each day.

Let me start by saying I have yet to successfully complete a 40 day challenge: I have, in all of my good intentions, taken on many pursuits, from daily exercise to giving something up for Lent. I have begun 40 day challenges, missed a day, and come right back to the intended practice and completed the full 40 days, but I have yet to successfully meet the intended practice every single day.

From so many failed attempts at 40 day challenges, I was able to come up with a few things that knowingly thwart my success in completing these challenges and they are as follows:
1. leaving my practice for the end of the day
2. drinking alcohol (coupled with the above, I don't even stand a chance but to just fall into bed, exhausted and in a sleepy, alcohol-induced slumber)
3. the fluctuations of my mind and desires: giving in to how I feel and allowing my feelings and desires to upset my daily discipline.

With these little nuggets of learned knowledge (also called experience), how could I fail?!

During January, I set myself up to breath right before bed as part of my night time ritual: lights out, teeth brushed, sitting on pillows in bed (I was NOT allowed to lay down and breathe), I would set my timer and begin my practice just before sleep. My mind awash in all the craziness of the day, resistance manifested as anxiety and impatience, wiggles, fidgets and itches, checking the clock at 3 mins, 6 mins, 9 mins... At the completion of the 11 minutes, sometimes I would sit and meditate; resting in the space created by the movement of breath.

Immediately I noticed an easier access to sleep, I spent less time tossing and turning as my thoughts had already been sorted and released, my body calm and relaxed, ready to rest and rejuvenate. As my practice continued day after day, my resistance became less and less and it was easier to move into acceptance of 11 minutes of breathing. My tendency to check the clock moved from the 3 minute mark to the 9 minute mark and sometimes I would surpass the 11 minutes entirely. My engagement in my breathing practice shifted and it wasn't discipline that took the helm, but desire: desire to give myself this space, desire to clear my clear my thoughts and emotions, desire to even deepen this practice and bring in an additional 11 minutes at another time in the day. I didn't amend my goal and hold a practice twice a day throughout the 40 days, but on the days where I did add a second practice it was an added bonus: a second gift to myself from myself.

Alternate nostril breathing became my main jam. I taught it in every public yoga class I instructed and my private students became practitioners too. I was able to guide people through the first 5 minutes of truly entering into a pranayama practice and meeting whatever resistance came up head-on, acknowledging that resistance and moving to the center of it, then through it. I was feeling very confident in showing up for myself and the little tid-bits of knowledge I was learning through this practice until I missed a day. Yes, day 33... a divine number no less, the exalted trinity, when I fell asleep after a long day of my best friend's wedding bliss (a compilation of 1 and 2 of my above mentioned list...).

I woke up the next morning and came right back to the mat and right back to the practice. I read on a facebook meme that the path isn't a straight line; it's a spiral. You continually come back to things you thought you understood and see deeper truths (if someone out there has the origins of this concept, I'd love to know it). The aforementioned list of 3 keep coming back to bite me and I had made a mental note that I should really do my breathing early on the day of the wedding less the excitement of the day be what thwarts my goals. And on day 34, I didn't beat myself up, I instantly accepted my perfect imperfections and moved on.

Maybe I set myself up for incompleteness by allowing myself an evening practice when I knew from experience that an evening practice is challenging. When it comes down to it, a positive, healthy every day practice is challenging no matter the time of day. I do not believe I have failed. As I realign to my alternate nostril breathing practice after missing a day, I know I have succeeded because I now sit in meditation long after I have completed the breathing. It's not a problem to sit in stillness and quiet for up to 15 minutes. This is the fruits of my practice, being in the space I have created with the movement of breath.

Creating Space for Meditation

 
  

If you've been following along for February's month of meditation on my Instagram feed (nicmpip), you'll see that today's post is all about creating space to meditate.  The idea is to create a sensual experience (as in engaging the senses) by lighting incense, candles, ringing bells, playing music, using mantra or clearing your space with sage or palo santo.  This moves along with the idea of creating rituals and habits which serves to engage your mind into beginning the process of slowing down and relaxing. 
 
Dr. Joe Dizpenza describes it best in his book Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself: the brain works by repetition and association. As you move through the processes of moving to the mat, lighting your incense and beginning your meditation, neurons begin to fire in the brain. As repetition begins with your rituals, these processes become automatic and "the cascade of chemical reactions that is triggered within moments changes the body physiologically, and it happens subconsciously - with little or no conscious effort".  Can you imagine your body subconsciously moving into meditation? If you have meditated today, you are well on your way to creating the very neurological pathways that will enable this to enter into the subconscious mind. Including more sensual aspects such as scents and sounds will serve to enhance the experience.

As a Kundalini Yogini, each time I begin my kundalini practice, I open the space with the Adi Mantra which in turn tunes me into the Golden Chain of teachers who guide me in that elevated practice space. Opening the space with this mantra has become deeply rooted in my heart and has given tremendous meaning and intention to my practice. As a child, I was never taught any rituals or spiritual practices as I grew up: my family never prayed before dinner or bed, I never recited affirmations or counted my blessings, all of these things came years later when I entered the path of yoga. I have learned to create meaning in my everyday life through the practice of rituals, I have learned active gratitude by pausing before meals to appreciate the journey food has taken to make it to my plate, and I have learned to create change within myself and my surroundings by intentional focus. For me, these are the practices that lead to the fruits of life experience.
